Issa Abu-Srour looks out over the Ayda camp
Issa’s father has founded a youth project in the camp called ‘Al Rowwad’. It offers choices to young people in how they resist, learning new skills and expressing themselves and their frustrations through drama and dance. He describes this as 'the beautiful resistance' through which children can stay alive.
He says, “I am a father and I don’t want to lose my children. I have four children. I want them to be educated, to be raised well, to build their own future, to be more than a number. I want them to be special.”
