Biography
Nick Davies studied Biblical Studies at the University of Sheffield and Systematic Theology at the University of Edinburgh. He has also taken courses in photo-journalism at the London College of Communication. He recently completed an MA dissertation entitled, 'Light, image and truth; theology through a viewfinder' exploring the revelatory powerr of the photographic image as a post-modern icon.
He has worked for Save the Children, Christian Aid and the Shaftesbury Society in communications and fundraising roles. Through his work he has travelled to the Great Lakes region of central Africa, Nicaragua, El Salvador, India and Pakistan. He lives in south London where we works as a priest in the Church of England. In 2001 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
